Memorial weekend 2026 the XFDA community came together for a truly special event as we celebrated the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serving others. The Veterans & First Responders Shoot was more than just a competition—it was a chance to honour those who have served our country and communities while enjoying the camaraderie that makes the XFDA family so unique.
With a fantastic turnout and a range full of respect, gratitude, and great shooting, the event was a huge success. Competitors travelled from across the country to take part in a weekend that reminded us all what makes this sport so special.
Event hosts Gunbelt and Kel Belle delivered an outstanding shoot that was praised by everyone in attendance. From the organisation and attention to detail to the welcoming atmosphere throughout the weekend, their hard work was evident at every stage. The appreciation shown by shooters throughout the event was a testament to the effort they put into making it such a memorable occasion.
As always, the people are what make XFDA special.
“One more XFDA shoot in the books but this one was different. From the first step into The Gunbelt all decorated red, white, & blue to the display of plaques honoring our XFDA heroes it had me thinking about what all those heroes have experienced. Each shot we sing about being proud to be an American and now we know the names of our XFDA heroes who served and are still serving to keep us safe.”
— Ozark Annie
“It was not just the shooting. It was the XFDA family that made the weekend. I truly enjoy being with this group of people.”
— Mongoose
“I was humbled and honored to stand among those being recognized for service to country and community.”
