Welcome back to the wild world of Xtreme Fast Draw America! Gunbelt and Mongoose are in the studio again, laughing their way through another round of fast-draw updates, friendly smack talk, and behind-the-scenes stories. Right out of the gate, Mongoose shows off some “special water” he claims to have sneaked out of Oklahoma — the kind that supposedly makes shooters faster. Whether it works or not is up for debate, but it definitely sets the tone for the fun that follows.
The guys dive into community news, starting with this weekend’s trophy shoot hosted by DFW Gunslingers, where proceeds will help fund the XFDA Worlds.
They also talk about the ups and downs of practice: the good shots, the bad shots, the missed targets, and the mental game that can make or break a day at the range. Even with tough practice sessions, the message stays clear: it’s all about muscle memory, consistency, and having fun with your shooting family.
We also get an update on new shooter “Eagle Eye,” who’s already tearing it up and pushing his times down into the 4s — and smiling the whole way. The guys celebrate the energy he brings, along with the camaraderie that makes the XFDA community so special.
Upcoming events, including the Bad Santa Shoot in Kansas with the Kansas Peacemakers — and yes, everyone who shows up gets an exclusive ACE-card bottle opener with the XFDA logo. The guys talk about how great these two shooters are, both on and off the line, and how excited everyone is to have another awesome club joining the family.
