Tim King (AKA Gabe Garrett) has loved the old west since he was a kid. Watching old westerns, playing cowboys and Indians while shooting his toy six shooter, that was his childhood. As he got older he became a real cowboy, boots, western shirts and cowboy hats. Then one day he found Cowboy Fast Draw.

Hearing the words, “Shooter on the line, Shooter set” and seeing the light come on became an adrenaline rush. He could not believe as an adult he was getting to dress like a cowboy and shoot guns again, he was in heaven!
BUT there was more!
He joined several groups that not only dressed western, but entertained others, while acting like a “Cowboy of the old West”! He has performed at social gatherings, western events, festivals and western competitions. He has even been fortunate enough to star in several movies.

Gabe has founded and helped grow several clubs and associations in the Fast Draw world. He is currently an officer of Xtreme Fast Draw America and founder of the Moon Shiner Gunslingers Fast Draw Club in Mountain View, Arkansas. He loves the sport and everything it stands for. He attributes the joy he gets belonging to the fast draw world to the people. He considers them his extended family and can’t wait to see everyone as he listens for, “Shooter on the Line, Shooter Set”.
