I grew up watching westerns and loving all things cowboy. I am a Country Singer-songwriter and I've competed in rodeo some, but I always wanted to get into fast draw. When I was a youngin' my daddy told me that my Papa once saw a fast draw competition in Macon, GA, but he wasn't sure if they still had them. I found out about WFDA and CFDA when I was a teenager, but the clubs were always far away and the equipment was expensive. This year I went to a "try it out" event with the Hickory Flatts Shootist Society in Canton, GA and I fell in love with the sport! I went out and bought a gun and holster and I'm now looking forward to the Georgia State Championship being my first shoot.
